Satay

The most famous Malay dishes are satay - spicy skewered pieces of chicken or beef, marinated and barbequed over a charcoal fire and eaten with peanut sauce and is our own version of a Western kebab, only sweeter and somewhat smaller. Pieces of softened, marinated meat are skewered on a thin stick made of coconut frond (‘lidi’ in Malay). It is then barbecued over a tray of hot steaming charcoals until brown and tenderly moist. A wide range of meat can be used from rabbit to venison but beef and chicken is the most common. Accompanying it is thick peanut gravy and ‘ketupat’, rice cooked in coconut milk, cut into cubes and wrapped into an attractive weave of coconut leaves. Traditionally, Malays wash and then eat with their hands from every meal while sitting across straw mats, but forks and spoons are more often used.

To know what happen in this story, I recommend to all of you read this book.

This book is easy to understand because it uses simple language, have a pictures and command word.

The part I think best is chapter 5, when Dick and Fancy were married. This is because this part of this stories have happy endings.

The message in the part is about true love and romantic environments.I can learn from this book is about love and the problems can be happen what ever you do. so, be strong until you get it.

The Petronas Towers

The Petronas Tower is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The architects was Cesar Pelli and Associates. Pelli’s design answered the developer’s call to express the culture and heritage of Malaysia by evoking Islamic arabesques and employing repetitive geometries characteristic of Muslim architecture. The Petronas Towers was official opening at August 28, 1999. It is very tall skyscraper with 41st floor. It is 452 meters (1,483 ft). The structure is high-strength concrete, a material familiar to Asian contractors and twice of effective as steel in sway reduction. Other features include a curtain wall of glass and stainless steel sun shades to diffuse the intense equatorial light.

About My Friend

My friend’s name is Siti Rauhah. She’s 21 years old and comes from Tanah Merah, Kelantan. She is student in UKM. She is in course of Teologi and Philosophy. She have three siblings which is one older brother and two younger sisters. She live in a happy family and a large house in the Suburbs of Kelantan. Besides that, she can speak Malay fluently and sometimes she communicate in English languages. In every evening, she like watching televisyen and study book that is becomes her hobbies. After she graduate in UKM, she would like to be a teacher.

Study Habits

I am a student of Degree in Multimedia programme. I have 14 hours of lectures. After my classes, I like to study in my room. I usually study for two or three hours in a day. When public holiday, I study at home, but not often because it is very noisy. I prefer to study alone. Sometimes friends ask me to study with them, but we usually start chatting about other things. I always make notes when I study. It helps me to remember. At the beginning of every week, I make a study plan for the whole week. I always busy and holic person !

The most important food in Malaysia is Laksa. It is not really a part of malaysia culture but it is famous in certain country, like Penang,Kedah,Johor and other's. The famous laksa is laksa penang, people can eat laksa at anytime, but they usually have it a tea time and luch. They make the laksa using fish shrimp paste,dry chilli,onion and salt. Then ,they serve the laksa with egg,salad,slice of cucumber,onion and bird eyes chillies. They easy to find at night market,restaurant's and stalls.It is very delicious.

My Study habits

I am a student at UKM. At the last semester, my classes beginning at 8.00 am to 4.00 pm everyday. After my classes, I go home and sleep for one and half hour in the evening. I usually study at night because it is fresh air and calm. I always study alone because I lives alone. Sometimes my friends come to my house and study with me. Therefore we can discuss together. I not prefer to make notes because I like to study whole the book. Actually I make a study plan, but I unable follow the study plan. I'm happy about my study habits.

TERENGGANU FOOD AND CULTURE

The most important food in Terengganu is Keropok Lekor. It is the most famous Terengganu food. It is a fish cracker made of from a combination of dough (sago flour) and pounded fish mainly from mackerel and sardines.Keropok is serve in steamed or deep-fried, both give different taste. The long chewy ones are called Keropok Lekor while the thin crispy are called Keropok Keping, means slice. . Keropok Keping (fish crackers) are made from sun-dried slices of Keropok Lekor. Both the keropok is usually eaten with chili dip.Keropok is easily found elsewhere in Kuala Terengganu, from the stalls beside the road to restaurants or market.Basically, there are two types of keropok. The first one is a tube-shaped that resembles sausages called "Keropok Lekor" and the second one is the cracker-shaped called "Keropok Keping" (sliced keropok). Keropok Lekor is what Terengganu is famous for.They are made up of fish, flour and other ingredients. For Keropok Lekor, you can eat it in two ways. Deep fried or boiled. If you don't really like the fishy smell, then better to take the deep fried as sometime the boiled one will have some fishy smell, especially when they are no longer hot. However, some like it boiled as it doesn't require oil to cook.
The Keropok Keping is also made up of larger tube-shaped keropok being sliced into very thin slices. Then they are dried under the sun to make it storagable. Then you need to fried it before consumption. It is nice to be eaten alone or dipping with the local chili sauce.

So him want to see his mother at home for tell about the table. Along the journey back to his mother home, he came to an old house and an old man lived there. And old man know about the magic table and stolen it.

Meanwhile, Bob the second brother work with friendly man and he give him a donkey. The Donkey can give Bob a gold money, but the same thing happened for Bob when The Donkey also was stolen by the old man.

Beside that's, the oldest brother Jack, work with a wood cutter. The wood cutter give him a magic box. There was a stick inside it. The stick can help him want somebody is unkind to him. Jack also want to back at their mother house. The old man also want to stool his stick magic, but the old man is fail Jack cried for the stick to hit the old man.

The next day, Jack took the table, the donkey and the stick and he walked to his mother house. He wrote a letter for his brother to told them about the story and they come home again. From the that day, the old man and their three sons lives very happily.

The Fisherman and The Giant.

This story tell about the fisherman and the giant. The fisherman is very poor and he never caught many fish, so he had money. He couldn't buy the food for his wife and three children's. One day, he was became rich because he found the jar at the sea. Inside a jar have the giant.then, the giant was bring the fisherman to the sea and the giant want he catch three beautiful fish.

Then, the fisherman show the fish at the King and he get many gold. Suddenly, the king was very shock because the three fish can speak and he called the fisherman. After that they was go to the sea.When they arrived into the sea, they saw a great house and young man with feet stones in the room.

Then, the king ask to young man why the fish can speak and the young man tell him about the story. Actually, he is the younger king, but when he married everything changed because his wife love his servant. when he try to kill the servant, his wife very angry and her change his feet with stone and the people with a fish with her magic.

After that, the King go to find the servant and kill him.Then, he was pretend became the servant. Some later, when the queen come he say he cannot sleep because the younger king crying because his feet is stone and all people at the city do not want became fish.Then, she was go to the sea and changing everything back to normal. The King was kill her.

Finally, the King and the Younger King became a good friends and the Fisherman also life very happy with his family.

In early afternoon, Marilla want to send Anne at the orphanage. Marilla want to meet Mrs. Spencer and talk about Anne is not a boy. It is a big mistake. Matthew very sad to separate with Anne but his sister, Marilla don't care about Matthew. To know what happen in this story you all must read it. I will make sure that you all not boring while read this story.

Kelantanese Food!!

The most important cakes or "kuih" in Malaysia is akok, especially in Kelantan. It is pancake like. People can eat this cake at anytime of day because it is can faund at "pasar malam" even by the roadsides. Akok made from duck eggs, brown sugar, pandanus leaves and coconut milk. They mix this ingredients in a bowl. Then, they are baked in a special " bahulu" like copper case heated over light fire. It is look simple and perhaps simple ingredients too, but only the most skillfull pastry maker could bring out the real flavour and smooth melting in the mouth texture. If you come to Kelantan don't forget to taste or eat Kelantanese traditional cakes such as akok.

Mumbai-India's The Largest City

Mumbai, which is also called as Bollywood where the people like to walk in the evening. The climate are varies, which are usually cool and dry in winter, hot in spring and wet in summer. The population of 18 m, which makes it the largest city in India.

It is about the adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Rocky is a cartoon of squirrel and Bullwinkle is a cartoon of moose. They are live in the cartoon Town of Frostbite Falls. Bullwinkle was unhappy live in there because there are no trees around the town. Bullwinkle wants to meet president to solve this problem.

Fearless Leader, Boris and Nastasha are three very bad people. Fearless Leader plans to leave cartoon world and control the world. Boris and Natasha help him. Rocky, Bullwinkle and FBI agent Karen Sympathy are going to stop them. They found many adventures while to stop them from hypnotize people to vote Fearless as a new president. Finally, they are success to stop them and three bad people moved in to cartoon world again.

MUMBAI- INDIA'S THE LARGEST CITY

The famous film industry in India, which is called Bollywood. Chowpatty beach, where the people of Mumbai like to walk in the evening. In winter, which are usually cool and dry. Population in Mumbai is 18m, which makes it the largest city in India.

FOOD AND DRINK "NASI DAGANG"

The most important food in Kelantan and Terengganu is Nasi Dagang.It is a well-known breakfast food in the states on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. In Kelantan, it is prepared to be as a breakfast. Nasi Dagang Kelantan served with tuna curry, hard-boiled egg, sambal and pickle.

The combination of fenugreek seeds and coconut milk gives Nasi Dagang its unique flavour and fragrance. First, the rise is soaked in water for several hours to soften it. Then,it is mixed with thick coconut milk, sliced shallots, lemon grass and fenugreek seeds. After that, the rice is steamed until cooked. It may also be steamed twice, where more coconut milk is added when it is half-cooked. Finally, the rice is steamed again until cooked. This method ensures a more creamy finish to the rice.

study habits..

I am student at the National University of Malaysia. When I study I like to study in the library because it is quiet place. I prefer to study in a group because I can discuss the study topic and share any information. I like study in the morning because the weather is good air fresh and cool for me, I always make a note when I study because it is easy to remember to main point.

Book Review

The Title of the book is Five Famous Fairy Tales. Author by Jane Rollason. This story book has 35 pages. It is a fictions book. This book has five story but I will share with you one of the story. It is about The White Birds. This story about one princess, her name is Princess Elisa. She had 10 brothers and her step-mother. Her step-mother very hated for her 10 brothers. So, her step-mother make a magic and changed her brothers into 10 white birds. Then, fairies help Princess Elisa change her broters to normal as a human. Princess Elisa work to hard to help her brothers. Lastly, Princess Elisa success help her brothers and they live hapiness. This book is very easy to undestand because writer used simple languange. I like the best story is part 5. It is about The White Birds. I like this part because the story very interesting and more moral value. The message in that part is Princess Elisa very loving her brothers and take care her brothers. I learn a lot of benefit in this story is helping each other is very important in our life expecially when someone in difficult situation. I recommed this book to all my friends because the story is very interesting to read and suitable expecially to childrens, teenagers and also adults. I suggest that you all must read this story in library.

Book Review ' Princess Diana'

This book story it is about Princess Diana, the most famous woman in the world. Diana Spencer was the beutiful English princess who changed te picture of the Royal Family. She did not become a Queen Of Britain, but to the people of the country she become a Queen of Hearts. Princess Diana was born on 1 july 1961 in Sandringham,Norfolk. She married to Prince Charles in St. Paul's Cathedral, London. So on 21 Jun 1982, was born the new Prince, Prince William and on 15 september 1984, Prince Harry was born. Now, Diana was a busy Princess, Wife, and mother. Ending, on 21 August 1997, Diana flew back to France with Dody holiday, now the were deeply in love. On Saturday, they planned to eat dinnert eat hotel which belongs to Dody's father, when they arrived the Ritz hotel, there were already about 40 paparanzi waiting for them. Then they tried to run away from paparanzi by car before the accident crash. the crash killed dody and the driver. However, the bodyguard-Trevor Rees-Jones was still alive. So was Diana but she has was very badly hurts. She died at about 4 o'clock in the morning. Diana funeral was on saturday, 6 september 1997 one week after she died.

Some companies are known to organize guided group tours on Segway PTs in the USA, France, Thailand and other countries. Certain organizations have run pilot tests on Segway business use, among them police departments, post offices, warehouses, and utility companies.
The Segway has also been used as a platform for movie camera tracking shots in films including Hot Fuzz. It is also popular in the robotic community, and has been used for various purposes such as object retrieval and autonomous mapping. A model of the Segway exists in various 3D robot simulators, such as in the Player Project.

SECRET RECIPE FROM KELANTAN

Kelantan cuisine heavily influence by Thai cuisine. Sugar always become vital ingredient in Kelatan cuisine thus most Kelantanese dishes are sweet. Kelantanese food makes more use of coconut milk than anywhere else in the country. Curries are richer, creamier, and more influenced by the tastes of nearby Thailand.
One of tradisional food from Kelantan is Nasi Tumpang is rice that packed in a cone-shaped banana leaf. A pack of Nasi Tumpang consists of an omelets, meat floss, chicken curry and sweet gravy. It is traditionally meant for travelers. It is very delicious.

Book Review " HULK "

This book is about Bruce Barner story and he is 14 years old at the start of this story. Life isn't easy for him. He's smart, but he doesn't make friends at school. He lives with his mom, but she isn't really his mother. He has strange dreams and he knows that he can't get angry. When he gets angry, he is dangerous.

One day, in his last year at school, he does get angry and his body changes. He sees strange bump under his skin and his body hurts. He really is different from other people. This is because while he young, his father get something for his body. But Bruce don't know and he is very afraid.

15 years later, Bruce start work in a lab. He knows that he is going to do important work. On the first day, he meets a beautiful young women, it's Betty Ross. He likes her and she likes him. Her father, Thaddenus Ross, is a general in the army. He work in Desert Base. The place means something to Bruce and General Ross knows something, but he doesn't tell Bruce.

Later, Bruce meets a strange man with 3 dogs. They are bigger and more dangerous than other dogs. Who is this man? Why does he want to hurt Bruce???

So, I recommend this book to all of you to know who's this man and why does he want to hurt Bruce because this book is very interesting and easy to understand.. So, lets go to reading this book..=)

"Roti Canai"

In Malaysia, Roti Canai is most popular food expecially for Indian-Muslim. Because it is a traditional pancake from India. Roti Canai is made of dough with egg. Usually, other people look at the skillful hand-flipped dough to be get special texture and good property. Sometimes, other people get Roti Canai for the breakfast, but they can't get everyday because Roti Canai is a pan-fry with oil and more cholesterol. Often, Roti Canai can eaten with curry sauce either Dhall curry, curry chicken, fish or even sugar, peanut butter, honey and others according to individual preference.

Jin Mao Building is a symbolic architecture of Shanghai marching to the 21st century. It is the first tallest in the country and third tallest in the world, hosting the tallest hotel ever built. With an east-meets-west design signifying Shanghai's emergence as a modern global city, Jin Mao follows the multi-use paradigm, offering retail at its base, offices above, and the Grand Hyatt's World's Highest Hotel occupying the upper 38 floors.
The Jin Mao building is designed by US architectural firm Skidmore Owings & Merrill, and was built by the Shanghai Jian Gong Group, the first Chinese national construction group to tackle such a large and significant project. The Jin Mao Building is a luxurious complex which combines office space with commercial space, a shopping mall, and entertainment functions. The three basement levels house electric facilities, service facilities, parking spaces and a food court.
The Jin Mao building is a superb design, combining elements of traditional Chinese architecture and a gothic influence to produce this amazingly modern building. Architects designed the building around the theme of the Chinese pagoda and the number eight. The lowest segment of the building is sixteen stories high and each succeeding segment is 1/8th smaller than its predecessor.
Two elevators with a speed of 9.1 m/sec. are working to transport visitors in seconds from the first basement to the sightseeing floor. Here, looking around and to the far distance, one can have a whole view of new Shanghai.

Assalammualaikum and hello again. i'm Siti laila Binti Mohamad. I was student of National University of Malaysia. I like to study in my bedroom because if feel free and happy there beside have a privacy.
I like to share my study technic to you guys, that are study in the morning because the air is fresh and cool. Besides that, we can memories what we study easier. I also like to study with my friend because we can change our opinion and dicsus together. Besides that i like to make a small notes when i study so that can easier to remember the main point in my subject. I study in in week about it to so hours because student normally do that.

Everyone have a friend same as me. My friend name is Nor Shida. She studying in University of Malaya and take Malay Languages as her major course. She lives in Kampung Telaga Bata Tumpat, Kelantan. She almost like watching television and leason to a radio during she has a free time.

She is very kind, cute and nice person. May be is we doesn't know her we think she is shy. She hope to be a lecture one day. She like to eat laksam and drink ice milo. I love my friend very much.

I studying in History program. My ambition in going to be a teacher or working in government place in Arkib Negara Malaysia.I have 5 people in my family. Blue Mosque - Istanbul

The Blue Mosque of Istanbul is located opposite of the Splendid Church of Hagia Sephia. It was built in 1609 and was complete in 1616. It was founded by Sultan Ahmet. The architect was Mahmed Aga. It is very impressive with its beautiful domes and semidomes, nice courtyards and 6 slender minarets. This building is nearly a square and covered with a dome of 23.5 meter (77 feet) in diameter and 43 meter (140 feet) high. This mosque has 260 windows which let sunlight diffuse into the building. This building is made of stained, glass and marble. The breathtaking interior of the mosque with its chandelliers and blue tiles. It is all surrounded by beautiful 17c iznik tiles which give its names to the "Blue Mosque". The Blue Mosque is very beautiful view when you are at the First Hill or from the Asian shore of the Sea of Marmara.
