Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle invented by Dean Kamen. It is produced by Segway.Inc. of New Hampshire. Segway are driven by electric motors at up to 5.6 m/s (12.5 mph/20 km/h) and their used batteries which can be charged from household and current. Beside that, Segway do not have or need mechanical breaks and this makes their use illegal on public roads in jurisdictions(the authority of an official organization to more deal with especially legal decisions) which classify them as some from of motor vehicle.
