THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

The Sydney Opera House is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It based on the competition winning entry by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most distinctive 2oth century building, and one of the most famous performing art venues in the world. The Sydney Opera House was built between 1959 and 1973. the style of the building is an expressionist modern design. It is a arts complex building with cover 1.8 hectares of land. It is 183 metres long and about 129 metres wide at its widest point. They are made of concrete frame and precast concrete ribbed roof. As well as many touring theatre, ballet, and musical productions, the Opera House is the home of Opera Australia, the Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Symphony. It is administered by the Opera House. Trust, under the New South Wales of the Ministry of the Art. For the other information, the Sydney Opera House is began in March 1959, the project was built in three stages. Stage 1 (1959 – 1963) consisted of building the upper podium. Stage 2 (1963 – 1967) saw the construction of the outer shells or it is roof. Stage 3 consisted of the interior design and construction (1967 – 1973).
