MP3 Players.



MP3 players is a type of digital music player that supports the MP3 format, which was the audio format that started a revolution in online music downloads and distribution. All portable music players, the iPod being the most popular, support MP3 along with one or more other audio formats. CD players, whether shelf units or portable, may also play back MP3 files. More commonly referred to a digital audio player ("DAP") is a consumer electronics device that stores, organizes and plays audio files. Some DAPs are also referred to as portable media players as they have image-viewing and/or video-playing support. Most DAPs are powered by rechargeable batteries, some of which are not user replaceable. Listening to music stored on DAPs is typically through earphones connected with a 3.5 mm jack. Digital audio players are generally categorized by storage media, such as Flash-based Players, Hard drive-based Players or Digital Jukeboxes and MP3 CD Players. They are also known as a MP3 players, for examples the MP3 CD Player (Philips Expanium), Philips GoGear SA1110, Apple iPod nano, Creative ZEN Vision etc.
